29th Anniversary of the “August 6th Massacre”

Today on August 6th, CPT-IK alongside partners and activists, visited families in Qaladze for the 29th anniversary of the “August 6th Massacre”.

On August 6th, 1994 an Iranian bombardment massacred 21 people including children and a pregnant woman. 10 people were severely injured.

29 years later, families still suffer from the impacts of the shelling and a lack of support from any government actions or authorities.

ئەمڕۆ لە بەرواری ٦ی ئاب، تیمی کوردستانی عێراقی CPT هاوشان لە گەڵ ژمارەیەک چالاکوان، سەردانی چەندین خێزانیان کرد لە قەڵادزی بۆ بەشداریکردن لە بیست و نۆیەمین ساڵیادی "کۆمەڵکوژی ٦ی ئاب".

لە ٦ی ئابی ساڵی ١٩٩٤، بیست و یەک کەس بە هۆی تۆپبارانی ئێران شەهید کران کە لە نێوانیاندا منداڵ و ژنی دوو گیانیشی تێدایە. هەروەها ١٠ کەسی دیکەش بە سەختێ بریندار کرابوون.

بیست و نۆ ساڵ بەسەر ئەو ڕووداوە تێدەپەڕیت، بەڵام هێشتا خێزانەکان بە هۆی ئەو تۆپبارانە و هەروەها نەبوونی هیچ پشتگیریەک لە لایەن حکومەت و

کاربەدەستانی لە ئازاردان.
