Turkey carries out airstrikes on villages in 3 provinces

Today, the Turkish military carried out a series of airstrikes targeting several villages in three provinces of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.

From 10:00 AM this morning until 2 PM, the Turkish military launched 13 attacks on Matina mountain, Gara mountain, and the Rashava Valley in Duhok governorate; the Khwakurk and Khnera mountains in Erbil governorate; as well as the Manguarayati area and the Qandil mountains in Sulaimaniyah governorate.

Although there were no reported civilian casualties or injuries, the attacks caused fear and anxiety among civilians because the attacks were in close proximity to civilian areas and infrastructure.

بۆردوومانەکان بوونە مایەی ترس و دڵەڕاوکێی هاووڵاتییانی مەدەنی، بەڵام هیچ هاووڵاتییەک شەهید یاخود بریندارنەبوون.
