Four Civilians killed in Iranian Bombardment
The Iranian regime is terrorising the civilians in Iraqi Kurdistan.
Last night, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps IRGC heavily attacked multiple locations in the Erbil governorate with 13 ballistic missiles.
As a result of the attack 4 civilians were killed and 16 others were injured.
Among the casualties are a Kurdish businessman, an Arab businessman, a child, and a Filipino houseworker. Moreover, women and children are among the injured.
After the attack, the IRGC claimed that they targeted several secret intelligence services at based of the Israeli Mossad in Erbil.
The sound of the bombs kept thousands of civilians awake and fearful in the Erbil governorate.
CPT strongly condemn the baseless claims for targeting civilians, women, and children in Iraqi Kurdistan.
We ask the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Regional Government, and the international community to protect the life of civilians and try to resolve the situation through diplomacy and peaceful approaches.
