On July 12 of this year, an artillery shelling from a nearby Turkish base on Shakev Mountain injured him. He recounted, 'We were milking our sheep when the attack happened. My right arm was hit by shrapnel, and it went numb immediately. I wanted to escape, but I couldn't. In that attack, eight of my animals were killed, and 16 animals were injured.'

Nechir expressed concern that due to the presence of Turkish bases, people are afraid to return to their villages, leading to a decline in the nomadic lifestyle in the region.
